White Christmas

Oooh.. and i have a great announcement.. Ali-Craft was so kind to let me won Graphic 45 on her October winner - follow and share ..woohoo, finally!!

And so, I'm going to enter the challenge for:

1. Ali-Craft - Challenge #6 White
2. Sugar Creek Hollow - Anything vintage goes
3. Creative corner challenge - Cant touch this (texture)
I made my own background for this card, as you know that i'm so terrible in straight cutting, so, the best way to "fix" it, is to distress the edge and add modelling paste around the edge.
I'm using my cuttlebug folder to puff up the paper, but since i don't have cuttlebug machine, i had to used my salad-wood spoon to transfer the folder on to my paper.. haha..

Then, I layered them with my florish snag'em clear stamp with Tsukineko - white embossing powder, just to give more texture on my layout.
Since I don't have Christmas tree stamp, I used my christmas stencil and modelling paste to create a tree (I know, it (really) didn't look perfect at all, but at least you can still know that it's a Christmas tree, right??)
At last, I embellished the card with WOC lace, ribbon and gem.
I'm perfectly satisfied, how this card turned out!

Thank you for visiting my blog!

Ps: Oohh please don't forget to check Challenge for Days for new challenges and win some yummy candies!!

Anything goes for Halloween

Here is my creation (again) using the metal plate from Captain Popeye broken DVD.

After I coated the background with black acrylic paint, i covered them with brownies black 12 x 12 paper from my stash and give it a little bit of hint of orange mist. I thought it would be fun to fuzzy cut the image of children hiding behind a pumpkin ghost and add a cut out of big scary spider and bird. I found the image from The graphics fairy - halloween. Life couldn't be simplier for limited crafty, if you don't have too many stamps or even die cut machine ( like me). I also embellished the metal tag with little bit of flowers from WOC, just to tone down the dark.
This tag is just perfect for our bathroom sign - hahahaa
"Enter at your own risk"

I will entering this project for:

Wild Orchid Crafts haul

Wooohooo... holiday is over and this is my reward for being a good olive-popeye wifey.. hahaha..
I've been waiting for these goodies to arrived, so I can get to the next project that i've been dying to altered.
After 6 days of every day checking up my post box.. finally, it's on my hand.

Witnessed by Captain Popeye, hard to hold my breath of excitement while he stared at me in disbelief of how can a person be drooling over paper flowers - he truly does my best supporter XOX, but merely, he just being amazed of how I held the box so tightly and called it "my precious" when we walked home from the post office.
With a hinch of warning "this would be the last order, before you sell something outta this" - (oh yeah?? - rolled my eyes) but whatever the unspoken thought, i'm going to enjoy these precious flowers ;)

This is my second order from WOC and i've challenged myself to have at least colorful roses. It looked so yummy, crispy and delicious to looked at. I know, right at this moment, i can't get my hands dirty again..
And I just have the right idea... *wink

Breaking time - Up coming yummy project

Well, with the big event here in town coming this weekend and Captain Popeye is on holiday, i'm pretty much sure that I will take some break time from my crafting desk..

Not easy doing this, while i'm on my "Highway of Crafting"..

Oh anyway.. This will give me some time to do yummy craft. More new ideas, altering the junk that I have under my desk, waiting for me to do something about it.. or probably, some papers that need to be create.. hmmm.. i wonder what ;)

Well, I'll be back soon..

Ljósanótt - Altered tray

Hello, this weekend is going to be fun! I'm sure, there will be lots of people coming for Ljósanótt and I can't hardly wait !!
And now, i am going to share my new project of altered tray, that i found.
I really like how it turned out. Hope you like it also, because.. you're my star!

All flowers that I'm using  are from my favorite Wild Orchid Crafts, and they are15mm Ivory Mulberry Paper Open Roses, 2 tone peach mulberry paper flower, earth tone mulberry paper lily flowers, Filigree silver corner, white cotton lace and unfortunately, my antique bronze circle embellishment is hiding behind my picture. All them painted in cyan acrylic paint and a little bit of antique gold from Americana. I also used paper echo park paper - everyday eclectic collection 6x6 and distress all the edges with Tumbled Glass - Tim Holtz, also a little bit of dark blue splash from We are memory keeper sweetheart distresser. I'm pretty much happy with the result :)

This is my 1st time ever, to entering this altered tray in Sugar Creek Hollow as their theme is Rose garden :)
Here's the close up.. cute isn't it?

Anime

Ohayo...I need some power boost today!!! i need speedy project.. i need fast-no mess project.. and I lovee cartoon or comic book. I'm the greatest fans of Japan thingy.. from food to anime. I've subscribed on youtube Japanese cooking channel and browsing their movies or reading the comics.
My favorite all time comic books (which i collected too - with my heart and soul to get all completed) is Popcorn by Pop Corn and The Rose of Versailles ..I love drawing Lady Oscar and totally in love with Okita.. they're such lovable characters.

Oh well.. now, back on my anime drawing.. Since i never learned how to drawing manga and now, i'm trying to learned their technique. I never knew that drawing the shape of head required ruler and measurement. DARN!, i sucked with straight lines.. i think that is the reason why, i'm not good with making card, i have terrible syncronitation, as they said..haha.. as much as i'm not good with numbers too (don't tell anyone!) but, i'm glad i'm getting the hang of it and like they said (again) "Practice makes perfect", in my situation, i need to fixed my motoric sense :p

This is the results.. far from perfect..
Happy that i found on youtube channel for step by step anime/manga drawing technique.
